Jeff Will received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995, 1997, and 2001 respectively. His research interests focus on mobile robotics, vision, and sensor fusion. His publications include contributions to the fields of off-road equipment automation, object-oriented software design, and mobile robot navigation.

Teaching and instruction have always been an important part of Jeff's academic career. He served as a teaching assistant and lecturer during his time at Illinois, and was named to the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students. He has also volunteered with adult literacy programs, mentored several students in undergraduate projects, and served as a Campus Life leader for a local youth group. He is pleased to be at an institution like Valparaiso University, where undergraduate instruction is valued.
